For Aurora and Blake’s engagement shoot, they envisioned a vibe straight out of downtown New York City—super modern and totally them! We worked closely together, creating an engagement session mood board to make their dream shoot a reality. We love collaborating with our couples on ideas, and it’s a great way to visualize them! Our secret to elevating this shoot? Direct flash! It added that extra pop to capture all their fun, flirty moments.

Our shoot kicked off at the ultra-chic Bisha Hotel in downtown Toronto—a luxury & lifestyle boutique hotel that is everything chic. We loved incorporating fun movement into Aurora and Blake’s shoot, bouncing on beds and popping champagne, radiating joy. Then, we jazzed things up at the hotel bar, where Blake rocked his dapper tux and black bowtie like a movie star and Aurora looked like a star in her champagne dress.

Next stop: The Well, where the backdrop was pure magic, perfectly framing their love and energy against the city’s skyline. Every shot was a masterpiece, telling the tale of their romance with every click. It was our first experience shooting at this location and it’s somewhere we would go back to!

Aurora and Blake brought their A-game with props that added flair to their shoot.
